Guestbook

The idea behind this blog is that it will eventually be a gift for Jack when he is old enough to appreciate it, so I know he would love having his friends and family participate and leave their mark on this gift.  We intend to keep this going for many years, until he is old enough and interested enough to take it over himself.  Ongoing commentary and messages to him on the important dates in his life will be very special for him one day and so we wanted to encourage the like by creating a special place just for that.

    Hey Jack. It’s your Dad.

This site is a gift to you that your Mom and I began working on almost right after you were born. A permanent, growing collection of your life’s journey right from the beginning. I hope you can appreciate it when you are old enough. I know I would have enjoyed the insight into my own childhood.

Anyway, I am sure more of your family will have plenty of messages for you over the years as your little blog grows as quickly as you do.

I love you with everything I have little guy,

    Daddy

  2. Mommy says:

    Oh my darling little Jack,

Initially this site was intended to help mommy keep track of your little life each week so I can eventually put together a scrapbook. Then daddy had the great idea to make this site really special so all the people who love you can see you grow up each week.

So, each Tuesday I sit down with daddy and we talk about the week that has gone by. We sit and we reminisce about all of the cute little things you have done and how much you’re growing up. We look through the many many pictures we have taken of you over the course of the week and decide which one we love the best, so we can share it with the whole world. On occasion, daddy even posts video of you being cute.

All of this is a gift for you someday. A gift so you know what life was like as you grew up and how much mommy and daddy love being your mommy and daddy. But, as it turns out, this is more of a gift for daddy and me because we get to relive each moment with you each week. I love you more than words could ever express and can’t imagine a life without you, even if you still don’t like to sleep. . .

    Love always and forever,

    Mommy

Your little man is growing so fast! I’m glad you’re documenting it so well! Isn’t it amazing how much love you can possess for a little bundle of drool and poop? Being a parent is the best! You guys already know that now though!!

    Hey Jackson,

I’m so excited that we get to enjoy you in our lives. I was so amazed by your red hair when you were born and you were so cute when I got to hold you for the first time. I can’t believe how much you have grown since I’ve been gone for just the few short months for the air force. I can’t wait to play with you and watch you grow. I know your parents are proud to have such a wonderful boy.

    Love your aunt,

    Danielle
